Play or Bench?

When Tamar Braxton’s third single “Love and War” was released, it gave her the hit that she’s been chasing since her debut album Tamar dropped in 1999. The single shot to number one on iTunes with over 84, 000 downloads in its first week, making it her first single ever to chart. Now, Braxton has released its follow-up “The One.” With a sample of Mtume’s 1983 hit “Juicy” and Braxton’s vocal stylings, “The One” is eerily reminiscent of Keyshia Cole’s 2007 jam “Let It Go.” The song is very summer friendly and will probably keep the ball rolling for the release of Braxton’s sophomore album Love and War due out later this year.

What do you think Vibers? Will you be playing or benching “The One”?
